President William Ruto is today expected to chair a Cabinet meeting.

The meeting will be held at Statehouse, Nairobi.

EL Adde attack

Kenyans will today mark the eighth anniversary since the El Adde attack in Somalia.

The attack which happened on January 15, 2016, saw hundreds of Kenyan soldiers serving under AMISOM killed by al Shabaab militants.

It is observed in the wake of an alert by the UK government to its citizens against visiting some particular areas in the country.

Fake degree case

A case in which a road engineer allegedly used documents to secure employment in government is set to come up before the Kiambu Anti-Corruption Court today.

The engineer is said to have used a fake degree in Civil Engineering to seek employment.

Meru blogger murder case

A Kiambu court will today issue further directions in a matter in which police were allowed to hold suspects in the murder of a Meru blogger pending probe.
