Deputy President Kithure Kindiki on Friday chaired the Intergovernmental Budget and Economic Council (IBEC) meeting at his official Residence in Karen.
The meeting was attended senior state officials including Cabinet Secretaries and Governors among others.
Some of those present include John Mbadi (Treasury), Alice Wahome (Lands) and Rebecca Miano (Tourism and Wildlife) among others.
IBEC coordinates governments’ policies, legislation and functions on pertinent matters including Financial management and budgeting, Borrowing and debt management, Economic management and integrated development, Fiscal legislation and regulations, and other matters that the Deputy President as chairman in consultation with members agree.
